Please enjoy our 2020 year in review video and CV19 update from M3OA Executive Director Niklas Tower.
All M3OA events and activities will remain virtual unter further notice. Thanks for your continued support.
After multiple postponements due to weather we were finally able to host the first annual M3OA Winter Gathering in the Middlesex Fells. Students from all 3 M3OA affiliated cities and the Medford middle schools came together to compete in the "Amazing Fells Race 2.0". After completing a course that covered over 4 miles of terrain (mostly along the Cross Fells & Rock Cicuit Trails) students and staff rallied at the Botume House to meet with MA DCR and recap the day's events. Despite some serious weather and a couple significant challenges, the trail races in the Middlesex Fells Reservation were a success. A beer garden was hosted by Medford Brewing Company and the Redbones BBQ Food Truck provided snacks. Colleen's of Medford brought tasty treats for the kids and Mystic Coffee Roaster kept everyone warm! All with lots of support from the Medford community and very hearty group of runners. Thanks to all you who ran with us or played a part in making it possible including the DCR and Medford Public Schools. A special thanks to our very generous sponsors: Alex Genovese at Flow Realty, Caroline Staudt at Compass Realty, Mystic Coffee Roaster, Tramontozzi Law Offices, Mountain Strength CrossFit, Ameriprise Financial, Boston Sports Clubs (Medford) Medford Kiwanis Club, Harvard Square Chiropractic, Medford Mayor Stephanie M. Burke, Wakefield Bowladrome, Tufts University, Wegmen's of Medford. #OktoberFells

The 2019 CCR was a huge success! Thanks to our partner Medford Recreation and all of the participants, volunteers, spectators, and sponsors. Over 20 teams built beautiful boats and raced, hundreds of people from the community turned out to watch, and fun was had by all those who attended. Be ready to the rock the cardboard boat again in 2020! #howdoyoucanoe
